Job description

Location: Candidates in the Columbus, Ohio and Jacksonville, Florida area are preferred; remote employment is also possible for candidates in Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

Compensation Range: $122,000 - $129,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer III to join our team. As an Infrastructure Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, networking protocols, and security best practices, and will have a proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing IT infrastructure.


What You'll Do

  • Make recommendations and proactively monitor the environment’s architecture and network technologies for capacity, throughput, performance, reliability/stability, and general operation of the technology.
  • Implement integrated network architecture for new computer systems and physical infrastructure by installing, configuring, and maintaining firewalls, routers, switches, LAN/WAN/Wireless internet and networks, Internet Service Providers, DNS, security certificates, antivirus/antimalware, VPN access and connectivity, advanced threat protection and remediating security vulnerabilities to provide a secure and reliable network infrastructure.
  • Architect, implement, and manage VoIP and telecommunications systems including video conferencing, PBX, instant messaging, call center, and other related services.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalated support in areas of network, security and communications.
  • Document the efforts of IT infrastructure disaster recovery scenarios, as it relates to system recovery, internet outages, and complete network disaster recovery scenarios, meeting requirements of Corporate One and regulatory agencies, especially in the context of designing these solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or related roles.
  • Prior knowledge of system and network infrastructure design with a broad range of server and networking technologies.
  • Experience in managing technology infrastructure, cloud networks and data centers.
  • Experience with multi-tenant/multi-site environments.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
  • LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and Internet infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Configuring security devices, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems.
