Salary Exempt (United States of America)The Senior Oracle Fusion Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the end to end technical architecture of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem. This includes environment strategy, identity and security architecture, integrations, performance and resilience, and operational governance.
The role designs and governs how Oracle Fusion is built, secured, integrated, monitored, and supported across all environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD). This position works closely with Oracle, system integrators, and internal infrastructure and security teams to ensure best practices, compliance with enterprise standards, and reliable service delivery.
This is a senior, highly visible role requiring deep technical expertise, architectural judgment, and the ability to influence complex enterprise decisions.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Design and own the Oracle Fusion Cloud technical architecture, including:
    • Environment strategy (DEV / TEST / UAT / PROD)
    • Instance management, cloning, and refresh processes (P2T, T2T)
  • Architect and govern Oracle Fusion security:
    • RoleBased Access Control (RBAC)
    • Segregation of Duties (SoD)
    • Identity lifecycle management and provisioning
    • Integration with enterprise identity providers (e.g., Okta, Azure AD)
  • Define and oversee integration architecture, including:
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • Inbound and outbound interfaces with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, MES, EDI, data platforms, and reporting solutions
  • Ensure performance, availability, and resilience of the Oracle Fusion platform:
    • Monitoring and alerting
    • Backup and recovery alignment
    • Disaster recovery strategy and testing support
  • Partner with Oracle and system integrators on:
    • Quarterly patching and updates
    • Environment refreshes and upgrades
    • Technical issue escalation and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with IT, security, and audit standards, including:
    • Enterprise architectural standards
    • Security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, SOC, NIST)
  • Produce and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and operational standards
  • Serve as senior technical advisor to leadership, application teams, and the Architecture Review Board (ARB)
  • Mentor and guide infrastructure, integration, and application teams on Oracle Fusion architectural best practices
  • Participating in production support governance and escalation processes as required
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant enterprise infrastructure or ERP platform experience
  • Deep handson experience with:
    • Oracle Fusion Cloud technical architecture
    • OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
    • Oracle Fusion security and identity models
    • Enterprise integration architecture
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cloud infrastructure principles
    • Identity and access management
    • Segregation of duties and audit controls
    • High availability and disaster recovery design
  • Proven ability to collaborate across infrastructure, application, security, and business teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex architecture to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in highly complex environments
  • Proven experience operating in a senior technical architecture role
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience creating and maintaining architectural standards, reference architecture, and governance documentation
  • Demonstrated leadership through influence rather than direct authority
  • Hybrid position with a requirement to work in the Atlanta corporate office on designated days
  • Able to occasionally travel (<20%)

  • Experience supporting largescale Oracle Fusion implementations or migrations
  • Familiarity with:
