Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our energy-related client's team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role requires a professional with expertise in data center architecture, cloud infrastructure, and network solutions. The Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise IT infrastructure while serving as a technical lead on key projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Network Solutions:
  • Collaborate with IT personnel to manage and implement enterprise network solutions.
  • Ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and performance across the organization.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Act as the technical lead for project teams by conducting research and analysis.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to project managers and team members.
  • Requirements Analysis:
  • Partner with subject matter experts, Business Analysts, and IT staff to analyze, understand, and document system requirements.
  • Identify and address gaps in system design and functionality.
  • Project Collaboration:
  • Work closely with IT Project Managers (PMs) on release planning, task estimation, and timeline development.
  • Ensure projects align with organizational goals and meet defined deadlines.


Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Center Architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Azure).
  • 3+ years of experience working with network infrastructure.


  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of enterprise network and cloud-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and managing IT infrastructure in hybrid environments.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP), Azure, or related technologies.
  • Experience in IT project management and Agile methodologies.
