Position Summary

Global C2 Integration Technologies is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Infrastructure (Power and Environmental) Engineer who designs, operates, and sustains electrical power and environmental infrastructure supporting mission-critical computing systems, on-premises environments, and system integration labs (SIL). This role ensures reliable, resilient operation of power distribution, cooling, and environmental systems required for high-availability environments. Responsibilities include supporting facility readiness, system integration, deployment, and sustainment in accordance with applicable engineering best practices and OSHA safety requirements. This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and design electrical power distribution systems for mission-critical environments
  • Ensure reliable operation of infrastructure
  • Perform load analysis and capacity planning to support deployments and future growth
  • Validate redundancy, resilience, and reliability of power systems
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, preventative maintenance, and lifecycle planning
  • Design, implement, and maintain cooling and environmental control systems
  • Optimize HVAC, airflow management, containment strategies and liquid cooling solutions
  • Monitor environmental conditions to ensure compliance with operational requirements
  • Coordinate with appropriate teams to ensure infrastructure supports system deployments
  • Review system power and cooling requirements to validate facility readiness
  • Support installation/integration of racks, power systems, and environmental infrastructure
  • Provide engineering input for infrastructure upgrades and system deployments
  • Assist with data center build-out and support development of system safety planning
  • Develop/maintain plans to ensure availability/resilience of power/environmental systems
  • Conduct failure mode and impact analysis (FMEA) and support disaster recovery planning
  • Participate in system readiness reviews and infrastructure assessments
  • Implement/maintain monitoring systems for power and environmental performance
  • Analyze telemetry and operational data to identify risks and inefficiencies
  • Troubleshoot electrical and environmental issues impacting system performance
  • Recommend improvements to enhance reliability and operational efficiency
  • Ensure OSHA compliance, support safety procedures, and participate in inspections, incident reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation for infrastructure systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government requirements and engineering guidelines
  • Support audits, inspections, and operational readiness activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience supporting power or environmental infrastructure in data centers or mission-critical facilities
  • Experience with electrical distribution systems, UPS systems, and cooling infrastructure
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with data center equipment installation and maintenance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting government or defense-related facilities
  • Experience with redundant power architectures and high-availability systems
  • Experience with thermal management for high-density computing environments
  • Familiarity with data center environmental, electrical, and reliability standards
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
  • Experience with facility monitoring or building management systems (BMS)
