Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Fourmile Project team.  The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of mining infrastructure across this exciting project. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensure operational efficiency, and support the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective development of mining facilities. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations

Responsibilities:                                                                         

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of mining infrastructure projects, including materials handling infrastructure, water management, power supply, ventilation systems, and surface support structures.
  • Collaborate with mining engineers, geologists, environmental teams, and project managers to integrate infrastructure requirements into overall mine plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee external consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and project updates to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Civil, Electrical, Mining, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required 
  • 8-12 years' experience in mining/industrial infrastructure projects, including leadership preferred
  • Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of mining infrastructure, construction standards, and HSE regulations preferred
  • Skilled in project management, team leadership, and stakeholder communication preferred
  • Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deswik, etc.) with analytical problem-solving skills preferred
