MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director, Enterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Operations to join our team in Herndon, VA.
As the Executive Director of Enterprise Infrastructure & Cloud Operations, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for the end-to-end design, deployment, security, and management of our global IT ecosystem. You will oversee a broad portfolio spanning multi-cloud architecture, global networking, endpoint management, and enterprise applications while driving cloud FinOps, Zero Trust architecture, and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a multi-tiered engineering and operations team across various time zones to ensure system high availability and rigorous security compliance.
  • Serving as the primary escalation point for data center and infrastructure outages, including critical incident remediation and incident command.
  • Overseeing multi-cloud architecture, design, and deployment across GCP, Azure, AWS, and OCI environments for Commercial and FedRAMP tenants.
  • Driving infrastructure automation and deployments utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Python, while managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leading the design and enforcement of a Zero Trust network architecture, managing micro-segmentation, and overseeing global SDWAN deployments across 60 locations.
  • Directing the management of enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and over 10,000 endpoints utilizing BigFix, JAMF, Intune, and Google Workspace MDM.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, and network architecture.
  • 5+ years of team management and leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing highly technical engineering teams.
  • Proven experience executing large-scale datacenter-to-cloud migrations.
  • Expert knowledge of cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Strong proficiency in automation, scripting, and API coding using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Extensive experience designing baseline architectures for CMMC and SOC2 compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of BigFix, Intune, JAMF, and RedHat Linux administration.
  • Deep understanding of edge networking and security tools such as SilverPeak SDWAN, Aruba, Netscope, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Familiarity with PKI, MFA integrations, and vulnerability management lifecycles.
  • Experience providing infrastructure and platform support for Core ERPs and ServiceNow CMDB integrations.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

  • U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $179,500.00-$321,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
