Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an ambitious and talented professional to join our team in Frisco, TX as a Project Engineer. This is an opportunity to join Westwood's highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
As a Project Engineer, you'll be an integral part of a multidisciplinary design team supporting a range of municipal and public-sector projects, from roadway and drainage to water, wastewater, and parks infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to lead technical design efforts, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project delivery that shapes the future of Texas communities.
Requirements
  • Serve as a key technical contributor on public infrastructure design projects.
  • Develop detailed civil construction drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Prepare calculations, cost estimates, and specifications for roadway, drainage, water, and sewer improvements.
  • Coordinate with municipalities, agencies, utilities, and sub-consultants to ensure project success.
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects, including QA/QC, design standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support construction administration tasks, including bid assistance, RFI responses, and field coordination.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Contribute to schedule and budget management by proactively identifying challenges and solutions.
