Job description

Seeking a proactive, process-oriented Asset Lifecycle Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, Information Management, and technology partners to support the implementation and ongoing evolution of the the client's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).
This role is located in Long Beach, CA and will require 3 days of onsite work.
The role is responsible for analyzing business requirements, supporting system design and integrations, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring that asset management capabilities align with the the client's long-term technology and digital transformation objectives. The candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners to ensure that asset management processes, workflows, integrations, and reporting capabilities support operational, financial, and strategic business needs.
This position plays a critical role in helping the client establish a modern asset management capability while creating the foundation for future initiatives such as predictive maintenance, asset analytics, smart infrastructure, and Digital Twin technologies. The role bridges business operations, technology, and data to ensure that asset lifecycle decisions are informed, integrated, and aligned with the client's strategic objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

1. Support the implementation, enhancement, and adoption of the the client's Enterprise Asset Management System (VUEWorks).
2. Analyze business requirements and translate them into system workflows, configurations, and functional
specifications.

Ensure business, operational, and regulatory requirements are accurately reflected within the EAMS platform.
4. Assist with the development and maintenance of asset lifecycle management processes and standards.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders across Program Management, Project Control, Maintenance, Finance, Real Estate, and Information Management Divisions.

Facilitate requirements validation, process reviews, and solution discussions.
7. Support business process improvement initiatives related to asset management and infrastructure lifecycle planning.
8. Coordinate and support integration activities between VUEWorks and enterprise systems.

Assist in documenting data flows, integration requirements, interfaces, and business rules.
10. Support data quality, data governance, and asset information management initiatives.
11. Develop and execute integration testing strategies and test plans.

Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities.
13. Work closely with business users, vendors, and project teams to validate functionality and business processes.
14. Support training, knowledge transfer, and organizational change management activities.

Support the development of asset information capabilities that enable future Digital Twin initiatives.
16. Assist in defining technology roadmaps, data requirements, and integration strategies supporting smart infrastructure and digital asset management.
17. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy teams to align asset management initiatives with the client's long-term technology vision.
Required Knowledge and Experience
1

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or a closely related field.
2. 6?10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
3. IAM certification and domain expertise with ISO 55000

Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), or infrastructure asset management solutions.
5. Understanding of business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, and workflow design.
6. Familiarity with enterprise system integrations, APIs, and data management concepts.

Experience supporting testing activities, including integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
8. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
9. Proven experience leading requirements phases for large or complex system implementations or integrations.

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technical teams
11. Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments).
