Job description

Korean Bilingual Network Validation Engineer // TL // Aliso Viejo, CAJob Description

Network Engineer - Telematics Validation will construct and execute Infotainment / Telematics function validation plan and testing. While validating implementation of requirements and change list for regular/irregular Navigation SW release (including Map DB) on both functionality and performance sides, oversee SW quality by constructing validation plans for detecting SW errors and evaluating full stack system SW. Establish validation plans and policies according to vehicle release and main event schedules, and publish reports by integrating validation results according to issue management standards. Support local client events (audits, joined-validation, etc.), while tracking and managing raised issues.

Essential Functions:
  • Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) is essential for creating test reports

  • Understand the system and sub-system specification

  • Understand customers validation feature requirements

  • Collaborate feasibility study with internal core development team

  • Communicate effectively with software design and validation teams to improve overall system performance

  • Prepare the technical evaluation and proposals for engineering change proposals

  • Responsible for communication with customer on design definition

  • Responsible for project management and project review with customers

  • Report manager whether test issues have been resolved

  • Must be able to work flexible work hours

  • Must have attention to detail and be self-motivated and responsible

  • Should possess excellent driving skills

  • Must be willing to travel to domestic / international locations when needed to perform testing, investigate field issues, or attend conferences / meetings


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Geographic Information Science or related field

  • Korean bilingual proficiency preferred

  • Related Experience At least 2 years of experience as SW Validation Engineer

  • SW required engineering - Understanding of Software architecture and Software development process

  • Software test strategy - Able to test in International Standards (ISO, IEC, IEEE 29119) of unit
