Ellucian Colleague Functional & Technical Contractors (Multiple Specialties)

Overview

We are building a bench of experienced Ellucian Colleague contractors to support current and future initiatives across multiple functional and technical areas. These contractors will be engaged on an as‑needed basis for implementations, upgrades, integrations, reporting, staff augmentation and operational support.

This is an excellent opportunity for independent consultants and contractors who enjoy flexible, project‑based work in higher education environments.

Areas of Expertise We're Seeking

We are interested in candidates with expert levell hands on experience in one or more of the following Ellucian Colleague areas:

Functional Modules

  • Student (Admissions, Registration, Records)
  • Financial Aid
  • Finance (GL, AP, AR)
  • Human Resources & Payroll
  • Accounts Receivable / Student Finance
  • Colleague SaaS / Cloud experience

Technical & Reporting

  • Colleague Core / Data Model
  • Envision / UniBasic Programming
  • JavaScript, React, PostgreSQL, etc. for Ellucian Experience, Data Connect, Insights and others
  • Colleague WebAdvisor
  • Ethos Integration / APIs (REST & SOAP)
    • Ellucian Experience: Custom card development, UI enhancements.
    • Data Connect: Creation and management of integration pipelines.
    • Intelligent Processes: Automated workflows to streamline processes.
    • Insights: Leveraging data insights for decision-making.
    • Intelligent Learning Platform (ILP): Integration with learning management systems.
  • Informer
  • Colleague Studio, Self-Service, ELF
  • Custom forms, rules, and workflows
  • Data conversions and system upgrades
Responsibilities (Engagement‑Dependent)
  • Provide functional or technical expertise for Ellucian Colleague projects
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations
  • Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with functional users, IT staff, and vendors
  • Develop documentation and knowledge transfer materials
  • Participate in project meetings as required
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise working with Ellucian Colleague (functional and/or technical)
  • 5 or more years working in Higher education
  • Previous consulting or contractor experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Availability to engage in short‑term or long‑term contracts
  • Experience supporting Colleague SaaS environments (nice to have)
