You’re Good at What You Do. Now Find a Shop That Keeps You Busy.

Bill Harris CDJR is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team.

If you can diagnose problems, turn quality repairs efficiently, and take pride in your work, we want to talk to you.

We have the vehicle volume, equipment, support, and opportunity to keep a good technician productive. We’re looking for someone who wants more than just another job—we’re looking for someone who wants to build a career with a dealership that invests in its people.

Why Bill Harris CDJR?

Great technicians deserve a shop where they can work, earn, and grow.

  • 5-day work week – NO WEEKENDS
  • Consistent vehicle and repair volume
  • $28–$32 flat rate, based on experience and skill
  • Opportunity to earn $100,000+ annually
  • Modern equipment and professional facilities
  • Paid training and continued technical development
  • A team-oriented shop where technicians help each other succeed
  • Leadership that understands the technician side of the business
  • Opportunities for advancement throughout Bill Harris Auto Group
  • Family-owned dealership with a long-term approach to employees and customers
What You’ll Do

As an Automotive Technician, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles while delivering quality work efficiently.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Multi-point inspections
  • Electrical and mechanical diagnosis
  • Brake, steering, and suspension repairs
  • Engine performance and drivability repairs
  • Cooling system and HVAC repairs
  • Preventative maintenance and routine services
  • Warranty and customer-pay repairs
  • Identifying additional repair needs
  • Completing repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Performing quality-control checks on completed work

You don't have to know everything on day one. We’ll provide training and support to help you continue developing your skills.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a technician who is:

  • Experienced in automotive repair
  • Comfortable diagnosing and repairing vehicles independently
  • Productive and motivated
  • Dependable and committed to showing up and getting the job done
  • Focused on quality—not just speed
  • A team player who is willing to help others
  • Interested in continuing to learn and improve
  • Able to maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record

CDJR/dealership experience is a plus, but we're willing to consider strong independent-shop technicians who have the right skills and attitude.

ASE certifications are appreciated but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

$28–$32 Flat Rate per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and productivity.

With consistent workflow and the right level of productivity, $100,000+ annual earning potential is achievable.

Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Employee discounts
  • Paid training and continuing education
  • Modern shop equipment
  • Stable, full-time employment
  • Career advancement opportunities throughout Bill Harris Auto Group
We Have the Work. You Bring the Skill.

A good technician shouldn't have to sit around waiting for work.

At Bill Harris CDJR, we're focused on keeping our shop productive and giving our technicians the opportunity to turn their skills into a great living.

We're a family-owned dealership group that believes in developing people, promoting from within, and building long-term relationships.
