Field IT Technician

Join the JCK Restaurants Support Team — where tech skills meet tasty rewards!

Are you the kind of person who can fix almost anything, thrives on solving problems, and loves the idea of keeping restaurants running smoothly? Then you might be the hero we’re looking for!

What You’ll Do

Be the on-site superstar for hardware repairs, upgrades, and installs.
Keep our point-of-sale systems and tech running like a well-oiled fryer.
Tackle service calls, preventative maintenance, and upgrades with confidence.
Partner with awesome third-party vendors and help our restaurant teams shine.
Travel to different locations (sometimes 100+ miles!) and bring your tech magic on the road.
Rotate through on-call shifts and occasionally dive into overnight installs — because sometimes, the show must go on!

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in IT, customer service, or a related field.
1+ year of POS support desk experience (you know your terminals from your printers!).
Hands-on hardware know-how, from soldering to troubleshooting.
A knack for clear communication and a “let’s solve it” attitude.
A valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and a sense of adventure!

Bonus Points For

Networking or wireless setup experience.
PC repair skills (hardware or OS).
Restaurant or hospitality experience (you know the hustle!).
Spanish-speaking skills

The Details

Standard shift: 8 AM – 5 PM
On-call rotation: 5 PM – 8 AM, Monday–Sunday
Some travel and after-hours work required (projects don’t always stick to the schedule!).
Paid training at our HQ in Eugene, OR — up to 90 days, depending on your skills.
$19/hr + Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO and more!
