The IT Systems Administrator provides comprehensive technical support, manages IT infrastructure, and ensures cybersecurity best practices. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role provides end-to-end IT support, manages network and server operations, implements IT policies, and resolves technical issues for employees across multiple locations.


Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues affecting Windows PCs, iPhones, and other company technology.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows workstations, iPhones, servers, printers, network equipment, and peripheral devices.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, email systems, mobile device management (MDM), and user access across company platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, networking, and endpoint devices.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, devices, email, and system access.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure, including network performance, servers, endpoint protection, and system availability.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus, firewalls, security policies, access controls, software updates, and patch management.
  • Administer system backups, disaster recovery processes, and restore procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, software licensing, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to support hardware, software, telecommunications, and network services.
  • Assist with IT projects, technology deployments, system upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices to support compliance, security, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration role.
  • Strong experience supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and iPhone environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange, and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, antivirus, VPNs, and endpoint security.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with IT team members and using service desk tools.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar) are preferred.
