THIS ROLE IS PART-TIME

The Network Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across the organization. This role is Part-Time and focuses on installing, configuring, securing, and troubleshooting network hardware and services while ensuring reliable network performance and uptime.

Primary responsibilities include:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VoIP systems, printers, battery backups, and network cabling.

Administering and supporting Juniper, Palo Alto, and Extreme Networks environments.

Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Supporting LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless infrastructure.

Managing firewall policies, network security, and access controls.

Serving as a higher-tier escalation resource for network-related issues.

Working with vendors and support organizations to resolve hardware and software issues.

Installing hardware and software upgrades.

Supporting end users and maintaining company IT service standards.

Participating in occasional after-hours maintenance activities and periodic travel when required.

Juniper networking experience.

Palo Alto Firewall experience.

Extreme Networks experience.

LAN/WAN networking experience.

DNS and DHCP knowledge.

Wireless technology troubleshooting experience.
