Job description

Position Summary:

Flexjet is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join our IT department as an IT Finance Specialist at our Dallas, Texas facility. This person will be the primary support for departmental budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting. This job role is part of the IT Technical Services team, reporting to the team manager. The IT Technical Services is comprised of Service Desk, Server and Desktop, Storage, Networking, Telecom and Mobility.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interact with various personnel and departments in the company to collect, analyze and report IT spending and intercompany chargebacks
  • Partner with other IT staff to understand IT needs, expenses and future spending
  • Track overall IT departmental spending via invoices, IT dept credit card, expense reports and financial reporting from other business units
  • Monitor and coordinate payment of invoices
  • Monitor and coordinate limited use of the IT department Visa Purchase Card
  • Create purchase orders as required
  • Work with other team members on hardware and software maintenance/support agreements
  • Responsible for the proper and accurate software and hardware licensing across the business
  • Provide regular updates on your areas of responsibility to team members and IT leadership
  • Support the IT Technical Services team as needed
  • Interact with vendors and partners as needed
  • Ability to be flexible with the schedule and work extra hours as needed

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science preferred
  • 3-5years of experience within an IT environment and familiar with hardware and software licensing
  • Knowledge of basic Finance principals and methodologies
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft licensing and Enterprise Agreements

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of general IT hardware and software functions
  • Experience with Microsoft licensing
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Work well independently
  • Manage your time well working simultaneous challenges without undue stress.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a changing, entrepreneurial environment.
