Independence Blue Cross Finance Rotation Program (Full-time)

The Finance Rotation Program develops well-rounded associates who understand how each area of Finance contributes to the corporate strategy. Through on-the-job training, instructor-led classes, and peer-to-peer learning, the Finance Rotation Program offers participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the business, enhance skills, hone their financial and business acumen, and achieve their professional goals.
Program Highlights:

Responsibilities:
  • Successfully complete 2 cross-functional job rotations, including all required functional training.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with others; self-directed in completing high quality work within established timelines.
  • Work with management during business rotations to gain deeper knowledge of each function, the day-to-day operations, and the connection with other parts of the business.
  • Participate in and successfully complete all assigned training and development courses, assignments, and projects. Incorporate and leverage this knowledge into daily work performance.
  • Work on and/or lead special projects, as assigned, that require research and analysis.
  • Identify areas for improvement, effectiveness, and efficiency improvements.
  • Work with assigned manager and Program Coordinator to create personal developmental plan that complements program components and expands professional growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Graduating senior or recent graduate
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, Risk Management or Business is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Creative problem solving and strong analytical reasoning skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Able to work independently within established timeframes
  • Ability to think strategically and respond tactically in a dynamic environment
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities at one time
  • Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

Level of position will be commiserate with experience:
FRP Associate I - 0 to 3 years' experience.
FRP Associate II - 3+ years' experience.
