As a Help Desk Technician, you're the go-to pro for keeping our technology smooth and reliable across the entire property. From the casino floor to hotel operations and entertainment venues, you make sure desktops, audio/visual set ups, and communication systems are always ready to perform. What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Builds, moves, installs, inventories, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance of computer hardware, software, audio/visual equipment, telecommunications devices, enterprise systems, and peripheral components.
  • Provisions and de-provisions users as required for new hires, terminations, and transfers.
  • Sets-up, conducts, and breaks-down audio/visual productions for internal and external events.
  • Assists, monitors, and documents 3rd party support providers performing on-site or remote support.
  • Installs and maintains low voltage cabling and associated plant.
  • Prepares and maintains technical records and documentation in conformance to department standards.
  • Complies with all processes and procedures required by applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborates, coordinates and communicates local information technology activities with other Ko-Kwel Casino Resorts information technology teams to ensure cohesive system standards, service delivery, and requestor outcomes.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

  • Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent mix of training, certification, education, and experience.
  • Two (2) years technical support experience in an enterprise environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of audio/visual and telecommunications desirable.
  • Prior experience in a casino IT environment preferred with experience in the specific applications used by the Company desirable.
  • Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality regarding company information.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven abilities to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated skills dealing with stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Apply a strong sense of team.
  • Must display strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle conflict situations with tact and discretion.
