PURPOSE OF POSITION:A Level I Snowmakeris responsible formaintaining, moving, and setting up snow guns and hoses for extensive snowmakingoperation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform the required equipment inspections and servicing and record results accurately and completely

  • Assistsenior snowmakers with daily snowmaking operations and equipment setup

  • Safelyoperatesnowmaking equipment and snowmobiles

  • Report any problems with the product or equipment which arises during an assignment

  • Assistco-workers with minor equipment repairs

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the equipment and facilities

  • Follow proper radio communication and professional conduct standards

  • Other duties as assigned

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • One season of winter snowmaking or relatedmountainoperations experience preferred

  • Heavy equipment experience preferred

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical systems

  • Must be safety conscious and have a mechanical aptitude

  • Understanding or development of snowmaking/removalobjectivesand techniques

  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 poundsregularly

  • Able to walk on steep and variable terrain and tolerate working in extreme conditions

  • Reliable transportations during winter conditions

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • 10/28/2026 - 1/30/2027

  • Must be able to work flexible shifts - including day, swing, or grave shifts

PAY RATE:

  • Pay: $21.00 per hour
