Position Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. IT Asset Management Specialist to ensure the optimal use, tracking, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance of all company-owned assets. The IT Asset Management Specialist will ensure the reduction of operational inefficiencies, strengthen compliance posture, and save the organization time and money.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):
  • Provides direct technical expertise, support, and oversight of the client's IT department systems.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and other technology-related resources.
  • Apply keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with various departments to ensure efficient asset management to actively manage these systems while maintaining maximum operational readiness and life cycle value.
  • Become familiar with the basics of the client's Environmental Management System & Environmental Policy and implement Best Management & Good Housekeeping Practices.
    Qualifications & Experience Required (3+ Years)
  • Experience in IT Asset Management
  • Experience applying the knowledge of the principles and practices of facilities maintenance and asset management.
  • Experience demonstrating knowledge of IT procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Experience demonstrating strong understanding of IT hardware and software.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management.
  • Experience demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience demonstrating proficiency in using asset management software and tools.
  • Experience demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
    Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Reliable transportation and possession of a valid class C driver's license
  • Ability to obtain CJIS certification in order to manage Department of Public Safety projects with sensitive data requirements.

  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
  • Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
