The Northrop Grumman CIDO Mission Integration & Digital Architecture Support team is seeking a Sr. Principal Information Systems Project Manager to lead the enhancement, design, and delivery of standardized dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions in support of the Sector MIDAS Operations Strategy. This role will ensure standards around metrics across the CIDO portfolios in ServiceNow to delivery actionable visibility into performance, risk, and execution aligned with sector and enterprise standards. This position is a hybrid role and requires the selected candidate to work onsite at our Cincinnati, OH campus 2-3 days per week; part-time remote work may be available in accordance with company guidelines and business needs.
The responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
  • Perform as a Sr. Principal Information Systems Project Manager in support of sector operations and digital architecture strategy.
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of executive-ready ServiceNow dashboards and KPI reports for CIDO leadership and teams.
  • Translate portfolio and business requirements into ServiceNow data models, Performance Analytics, and visualizations that enable decision-making.
  • Define, implement, and maintain standard KPI and metric definitions, calculations, and reporting cadences aligned to Mission Systems portfolio and standards.
  • Partner with Sector Operations leads supporting division directors, portfolio managers, and PMO teams to identify metrics and insights that highlight performance, risks, and resource utilization.
  • Establish and enforce data quality, consistency, and traceability practices across dashboards, reports, and underlying data sources.
  • Provide senior-level subject matter expertise for ServiceNow dashboards and analytics, including troubleshooting, enhancement road-mapping, and best practices.
  • Support project and portfolio teams with ServiceNow based status reporting, health indicators, and integrated portfolio views across multiple initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including executive leadership, internal and external customers, in both written and verbal formats.
  • Develop and maintain documentation (standards, templates, and patterns) to drive reuse and scalability of dashboards and KPIs across Mission Systems CIDO.
  • Coach and enable stakeholders on the effective use of ServiceNow dashboards and reports, and respond to ad hoc analysis and visualization requests.
  • Work after hours and weekends, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with 10 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 14 years of experience; a High School Diploma/GED with 16 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  • Applicants must have an active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, or must be enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) in order to be considered; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience as a ServiceNow SME, with strong emphasis on Performance Analytics, reporting, and dashboard configuration.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and supporting executive-facing dashboards and KPIs in ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate complex portfolio/business needs into well-defined metrics, calculations, and visualizations.
  • Strong understanding of project and portfolio management concepts (e.g., schedule, cost, risk, dependencies, health indicators).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 12 years of experience supporting similar defense/aerospace portfolios and stakeholders.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
  • Current Security+ CE certification.

Primary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
