Information Systems Lecturer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The Department of Finance and Supply Chain Management, within the College of Business at CWU, is accepting applications to fill current and future full-time, part-time, quarterly and annual appointment lecturer positions to teach undergraduate classes in Management Information Systems. CWU's MIS courses are housed in the Department of Finance and Supply Chain Management. The College of Business is a member of the SAP University Alliance. MIS courses include business process and enterprise systems integration, systems configuration and applied analytics. Courses incorporate SAP as the primary industry system employed in the classroom. Courses are delivered at CWU locations in Ellensburg WA, Lynnwood WA, Des Moines WA, and Lakewood WA.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in process analysis and SAP module application in a professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness in university level courses.
• Current work experience.
• Additional expertise related to SAP system configuration, SAP Analytics tools, other analytics tools such as Microsoft BI, Tableau, etc.

Pay & Work Schedule
Pay: Based on the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement .
The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the 2025-2026 academic year will be as follows:
(a) Lecturer: $1,224 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $979 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
(b) Senior Lecturer: $1,346 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,075 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
Effective September 1, 2026,
The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the 2026-2027 academic year will be as follows:
(a) Lecturer: $1,248 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $999 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
(b) Senior Lecturer: $1,373 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,097 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.

Additional Information : This announcement will be used to fulfill faculty needs beginning Fall 2027 and will subsequently be used to develop a pool of applicants for positions in the department of Finance & Supply Chain Management through March 2026. There is a possibility that selected applicants may be called on short notice to fill lecturer vacancies on a quarter-by-quarter basis.
Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue as needed. The number of lecturer positions filled varies from quarter to quarter, depending upon the needs of the department. Positions typically start at the beginning of an academic quarter. Your application will be maintained in this pool for consideration through March 2027.
