Job description

Job Summary:
Teledyne Scientific & Imaging is a leader in providing advanced technologies for industrial growth markets. They are seeking an Information System Administrator to manage and secure classified IT systems, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity requirements and supporting network and server infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and secure classified IT systems across their full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with DCSA, DoD, and IC cybersecurity requirements.
• Manage hybrid server environments (Windows/Linux), including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and system patching.
• Oversee storage and backup infrastructure (Dell EMC Unity, enterprise backup platforms), ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Maintain and support network infrastructure, including Cisco routers/switches, LAN/WAN architecture, and secure communications.
• Support desktop/client environments, including system imaging, software deployment, upgrades, and user administration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across servers, networks, and endpoints beyond Tier 2 support.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in system administration within classified or government environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, enterprise storage, and Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (RMF, NIST 800-53, DoD/IC directives).
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS tools, and vulnerability management practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, patching, backup/recovery, and ITIL-based operations.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or higher) required.
• Active Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI Poly.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Scripting and Linux experience preferred
