Job Description
The IT Assurance Analyst is responsible for the conduction of end-to-end systems functional and non-functional testing of all new and modified systems prior to production launch. The IT Assurance analyst will work with resources in technology, business, and project management to ensure all testing is comprehensive in nature. Additionally, the IT Assurance analyst will assist in driving security assurance with the Information Technology Team.
Essential Functions
  • Technical Quality Assurance:
    • Assists in development and execution of test plans and reports issues for resolution.
    • Assists in the development of innovative processes, communications, metrics, and accountabilities that result in process improvements.
    • Assists in developing more predictive and intelligent testing approaches on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
    • Assists in the establishment of standards for development, review and execution of test plans and test cases that ensure the product quality.
    • Assists in the creation and implementation of new quality assurance processes, guidelines, and tools.
    • Assist in initiatives for automation of test cases.
  • Security Assurance:
    • Assists in the test planning and execution of IT Security Controls Testing.
    • Participates in the oversight of Vulnerability Management and Compliance programs within Information Technology.
    • Creates metrics and reports that are meaningful, accurate and timely.
  • General Quality Assurance:
    • Help determine root cause on system outages and address any related testing gaps.
    • Investigate and collaborate on the resolution of software defects/quality issues.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Assist in increasing team effectiveness by providing consulting expertise and technical mentoring across multiple verticals.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications
Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or similar, preferred
  • 6+ years' relevant experience in an IT role to include:
    • 1+ years' in a Technical Software Testing/Quality Assurance role, required
    • 1+ years' experience with a credit union or financial institution, preferred

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices and protocols.
  • Understanding of diverse security practices along with IT risk management concepts and applies them effectively when developing security solutions.
  • Experience working with or within ITIL, DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies.
  • IT systems/data security controls to include but not limited to firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM and other security device platforms.
  • Regulations and best practices for technical deployments specific to the financial industry, disaster recovery/business resumption technique, secure coding and application design, packet analysis and forensic tools.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to identify, quantify, and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance.
  • Ability to provide superb customer service.
  • Familiarity with Systems Lifecycle Development (SDLC) best practices.
  • Communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Ability to interface with all levels (executive to entry level).
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
  • Ability to contribute at all levels of testing including unit, functional, automation, performance, and scalability testing.
  • Data drive mindset leveraging metrics to make data-based decisions.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Root-cause problem solving mindset.
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple vendors.
  • Exposure to Automation Tools (Selenium, Katalon Studio, UFT and Tricentis Tosca), Scripting Languages and Test Management Tools (JIRA, Rally and ALM).

Additional Information
PAY RANGE: $93,200 to $109,000 Annually (I15) with a 10% annual target bonus.
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
