Job description

INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST
The company is seeking a Information Security Analyst to support NIWC (Naval Information Warfare Center). This position can be supported either in Charleston, SC or Ft. Meade, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
  • Support the development of system security Assessment & Authorization (A&A) submissions. Apply working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements and can evaluate system designs to achieve system Interim Authority to Test (IATT), Interim Authorization to Operate (IATO), and Authorization to Operate (ATO).
  • Apply working knowledge with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and stages of system projects.
  • Perform threat vulnerability assessments, aid in security test & evaluation, and develop Cybersecurity artifacts in support of RMF and DoD standards across the enterprise.
  • Evaluate, develop, recommend, test, modify, and change system configurations to meet DoD security requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior related work experience in DoD environment

SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required

TRAVEL
  • Some travel may be required
