Job Title: SAP BO/BI Developer
Location: San Jose CA or RTP NC - Onsite

Job Description:
We are seeking a senior-level SAP BI Specialist to lead the design, development, and administration of our reporting ecosystem. This role serves as the critical link between complex data architectures (Teradata/Snowflake) and actionable business insights, ensuring high-performance reporting through expert Information Design Tool (IDT) and Web Intelligence (WebI) development.
Key Responsibilities:
Universe Engineering: Architect and maintain complex Universes using IDT, implementing advanced concepts (contexts, aliases, aggregate awareness) to resolve loops and traps.
Report Development: Design sophisticated WebI reports and perform custom SQL analysis to ensure data accuracy and optimal performance.
Platform Administration: Manage the SAP BO environment via CMC, overseeing security profiles, content migration (Promotion Management), and complex scheduling.
Data Strategy & Optimization: Collaborate on dimensional data modeling and tune queries specifically for Teradata and Snowflake to ensure low-latency reporting.
Operational Excellence: Navigate Agile and ITIL workflows using JIRA and ServiceNow to manage development sprints and system enhancements.
Technical Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BI 4.3.
SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL proficiency is mandatory, specifically optimized for Teradata and Snowflake environments.
Tool Expertise: Expert-level skills in Information Design Tool (IDT) and Web Intelligence (WebI).
Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of database architecture, dimensional modeling, and query tuning for high-performance reporting.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex universe linking, integration issues, and generated SQL.
Good to have Python and JAVA coding exposure.
