We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional to help customers realize the digital lab and adopt AI. This exciting sales role supports the informatics team by selling software maintenance contracts and LIMS solutions as part of Agilent's broader portfolio.

This key recurring revenue stream grew 13% in 2025 and 34% so far in 2026, and provides a key relationship with our customers to enable their success.

This is a strong opportunity to expand your sales experience while supporting one of Agilent's key pillars.

In this role, you will sell enterprise software maintenance agreements (SMAs) as well as manage quotes and renewals for the OpenLab SYNC platform. You will engage directly with customers across the Americas, primarily through outbound and inbound telephone sales activities. As an integral member of the sales team, you will be a partner to software product specialists to acquire new customers, retain existing customers, and grow the installed base. You will carry a quota, interpret customer needs, proactively address them, build business opportunities, and represent Agilent in all sales-focused activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing your sales funnel in Salesforce CRM and proactively identifying new business opportunities through marketing campaigns and other creative initiatives.

  • You will regularly communicate deals, issues, and opportunities with the appropriate specialists to ensure alignment and follow-through.

  • Strong technical knowledge of customer workflows and laboratory equipment-combined with excellent interpersonal skills-will help you build credibility and engage effectively with customers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

  • 2 Years sales experience with Agilent instrument and software portfolio a plus

  • Experience with SAP CRM and FlexNet licensing a plus

  • Typically, at least 5+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.

It is sales incentive eligible.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $50.52 - $101.03/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
