About the Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for proactively generating new outbound sales opportunities from scratch within an assigned territory.

This is a high-activity, outbound-focused role where success is driven by consistent execution across calling, emailing, and targeted outreach. BDRs serve as the front line of our go-to-market strategy, identifying potential customers, qualifying needs, and creating high-quality opportunities for Account Executives.

💧 What You'll Do
  • Prospect into assigned accounts and territories through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted campaigns to generate qualified pipeline.

  • Engage prospective customers, identify business needs and challenges, and conduct discovery conversations to assess solution fit.

  • Convert leads into qualified meetings, demos, and sales opportunities through consistent follow-up and relationship building.

  • Own and manage a defined territory, prioritizing accounts and maintaining accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce.

  • Track performance against key metrics and continuously refine your outreach strategy to improve results.

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to advance opportunities and ensure a smooth handoff process.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to improve messaging, targeting, and overall go-to-market effectiveness.

💧 What You Bring
  • 1+ years of experience in a BDR, SDR, Inside Sales, or similar outbound sales role.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience in B2B and/or SaaS environment.

  • Proven success generating pipeline and achieving activity or opportunity targets.

  • Strong prospecting, discovery, and customer engagement skills.

  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.

The compensation range for this role is $30.00 - $35.00 USD per hour.This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
