JOB PURPOSE:
The Catalog team is responsible for procuring and ingesting product data to build and maintain a comprehensive product catalog for our merchants' Workstand website and in-store systems. The PIM Coordinator role is primarily responsible for standardizing and enriching raw product data for ingestion and refinement in our PIM. A key focus of this position is supporting the on-going modernization of our tools and workflows by leveraging AI; proposing new technical solutions; and suggesting data structure, product page, and process improvements to improve efficiency and impact of data. Other responsibilities include communicating with client-facing teams and executing ongoing catalog maintenance projects.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position is a part of the Catalog Team and reports to the Catalog Manager and has no direct reports. This is a remote position.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Clean, import, and enrich product data into our PIM.
  • Implement and oversee automatic processes to bulk consume data into our PIM.
  • Maintain product data integrity and adhere to Workstand data governance standards.
  • Leverage AI/ML and other tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy of data ingestion.
  • Identify points of friction in team workflows, and/or propose technical solutions to continue on-going modernization of team processes.
  • Execute PIM configuration tasks to support data model improvements.
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to resolve product listing discrepancies, fulfill one-off merchant requests, and communicate insight on ticket status and/or team process.
  • Provide timely progress updates and communicate blockers with teammates in appropriate channels.
  • Contribute to ongoing data hygiene projects.
  • Proof product data enriched by colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in the maintenance of team workflow documentation.
  • Quickly move from one task to another in response to changing priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Cycling (or other outdoor industry) and tech industry experience is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Workplace suite required
  • Experience with a PIM preferred
  • Experience with a CRM preferred
  • Experience with GenerativeAI preferred
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
