Job description

Overview:
Role: Senior Designer & hands-on Developer
Experience: 5+ Years of P360 and PIM experience, not total experience
Domain: Any domain using on-prem Informatica P360 and PIM will be acceptable.
Role Objective
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Informatica PIM P360 Designer and hands-on Developer to join the Agile team developing custom software. The developer will be responsible for the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of on-prem Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem hosted on AWS, Linux with backend data integration (IBM DataStage). Additionally, It will be a huge plus for candidate to have hands-on experience in development using various Python libraries. Desire for continuous learning is a must have since we are in the midst of various changes. Hands-on development experience using any ETL is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and configure Informatica P360 (on-prem P360) solutions, including data modeling, field additions using Repo manager, and UI configuration.
  • Develop and manage complex workflows using ActiveVOS and ActiveMQ messaging.
  • Develop and support P360 features using P360 SDK
  • Implement and maintain data quality rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and integrate with P360.
  • Collaborate with ETL team to format data flow from IBM DataStage (backend) into the PIM platform.
  • Support the PIM platform hosted on AWS, Linux OS.
  • Optimize the Supplier Portal to improve the onboarding experience for suppliers.
  • Build Python scripts for various PIM functions like post-processing and implementing machine learning features.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) and deliver high-quality code within defined velocity targets.
  • Proactively updates all necessary documentation
  • This is a client facing role and work must be physically performed in United States during regular business hours as per the specific client agreement and Capgemini policies.

Required Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Informatica P360's various components - Repo manager, UI, imports, exports, pre and post processing, assortments, data quality, P360 data model, API.
  • Proven expertise in ActiveVOS and ActiveMQ.
  • Strong experience in P360 SDK, core Java, J2EE
  • Strong experience in IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) and integration with P360.
  • Experience deploying P360 application components to higher environments on AWS & Linux
  • Hands-on experience with Guthub or any source control platform
  • Hands-on development experience in Python and using different python libraries.
  • Experience in using CLAIRE in P360 context is highly desired
  • Experience in building machine learning models and AI development is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical modules and solve complex problems with minimal supervision.
