Job description

Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Program Manager - role will establish and continuously improve enterprise ILM strategy and execution across data creation, classification, storage, retention, and defensible disposition. The individual through thought leadership and ILM governance framework will support and partner with business, IT, security, privacy, legal and compliance stakeholders to reduce risk and improve controls.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain policy, standards, and procedures in support of controls aligning to business priorities, regulatory obligations, enterprise architecture

  • Ensure measurable adoption of lifecycle practices across systems, platforms and processes

  • Partners with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security to translate requirements into operational controls and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead cross-functional delivery across storage, backup, content management, data platforms, and application teams to implement lifecycle controls.

  • Maintain and update retention schedules and disposition workflows, including defensible deletion practices, auditability, and evidence preservation.

  • Coordinate legal hold review readiness with Legal and IT

  • Create communications, training, and change management plans to increase adoption and accountability across the organization.

  • Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting for executives and auditors; provide regular status updates and program health reporting.

  • Assist in managing program budget, resourcing, and timelines; ensure delivery against scope, cost, and quality expectations.

  • Support audits and regulatory inquiries by providing evidence of controls, policy adherence, and program effectiveness.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in program/project management, data governance, records management, information management, or technology risk; or in lieu of the Bachelor Degree, a High School Diploma / GED and 10+ years of experience in program/project management, data governance, records management, information management, or technology risk.

  • Program/Project Management should include
    • Demonstrated experience implementing Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) records retention, and/or data disposition initiatives across multiple systems.
    • Working knowledge of information risk, privacy, and regulatory concepts (e.g., retention requirements, legal hold, audit evidence, data minimization).
    • Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Collibra) and repositories (e.g., file shares, SharePoint/ECM, email, databases, data lakes/warehouses, SaaS platforms).
  • 3+ years of stakeholder management experience, including executive communication and cross-functional alignment.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as Jira
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
