You'll work on a diverse range of projects—including social media graphics, presentations, brochures, advertisements, websites, infographics, digital assets, and more—and collaborate with internal partners to bring ideas from concept through production.

What You'll Do
  • Create compelling designs for digital and traditional media, from initial concept through final production.
  • Design materials from scratch or existing templates while maintaining WHA's brand standards and visual identity.
  • Produce creative assets including brochures, presentations, advertisements, social media graphics, infographics, web graphics, display materials, and other marketing collateral.
  • Apply strong knowledge of typography, layout, art direction, and visual storytelling to create clear and engaging communications.
  • Translate complex concepts, processes, and information into accessible and visually compelling designs.
  • Contribute ideas during creative discussions and bring knowledge of current design trends and best practices to the team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and internal partners to understand project goals, audiences, timelines, and requirements.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, design systems, and developer-ready specifications using Figma or comparable tools.
  • Incorporate user-centered design, responsive web design, accessibility (WCAG), and UX best practices into digital projects.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while providing timely status updates to internal partners and team members.
  • Maintain organized creative files and ensure completed projects are properly archived.
  • Support additional Marketing initiatives, community events, and special projects as needed.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong experience designing for digital platforms, with an understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and art direction.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma or a comparable design and prototyping platform.
  • Experience developing wireframes, interactive prototypes, design systems, and developer-ready design specifications.
  • Understanding of user-centered design, responsive web design, accessibility/WCAG standards, and UX best practices.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), digital marketing tools, social media channels, and emerging creative technologies.
  • Strong conceptual and visual storytelling skills, including the ability to simplify complex information through thoughtful design.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including a strong command of English grammar and spelling.
  • Video production/editing, motion graphics, and photography skills are a plus, but not required.
