You'll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America. You'll be a part of a highly creative agency that has been recognized by AdAge, Adweek, Communication Arts, Fast Company, Forbes and Fortune. Tombras was recently named 2025 AdAge Agency of the year and 2024 AdAge Independent Agency of the Year.
The Tombras Influencer team has worked with some of your favorite brands on the internet. This position reports to the VP of Influencer and will be responsible for managing day-to-day influencer efforts for clients, working closely with team leadership, other agency departments, and external partners to create and foster world-class influencer campaigns for clients.
The ideal candidate combines communication, strategy, and industry experience to contribute to our efforts across all clients and help grow and evolve our influencer marketing practice at Tombras.
Where you'll be working: Knoxville, TN
What you'll be doing:
Client and Internal Education
  • Monitor digital media and influencer landscape for relevant industry and competitor news to educate internal peers and clients on an ongoing basis
  • Assist in influencer/content creator POVs for internal and client needs
  • Continuously explore new social platforms, functionalities, and emerging talent to drive innovation in the space across categories

Relationship Building
  • Be the expert on all things influencer across your accounts, helping answer questions and help guide internal teams
  • Proactively create a database of content creator and influencer contacts, including manager information, rate cards, etc.
  • Conduct outreach and build relationships with known agencies, managers, etc.

Campaign and Partner Management
  • Assist in developing unique content creator strategies for a wide range of clients, laddering back to business objectives and social goals
  • Research and recommend creators to bring to life content creator campaigns/activations and meet client goals, including vetting partnerships to confirm brand alignment
  • Assist in outreach initiatives and content creator deals
  • Lead parts of campaign management and execution from briefing to launch, including internal communication, running briefing calls, trafficking concepts and asset delivery, content monitoring, and insights/reporting
  • Contribute to best-in-class influencer marketing strategies spanning audience insights, channel mix, content tactics and more

Leadership
  • Help oversee work for junior team members and interns to develop their skillsets and create opportunities for hands on experience
  • Own ongoing thought leadership newsletters and POVs to help internal and external stakeholders stay updated on the larger creator economy landscape

What you bring:
  • 2+ years of experience working in a digital, social, and/or influencer marketing environment including
  • A self-starter who loves collaboration and is open to feedback, comfortable working independently as well as influencing cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently with experience managing multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
  • Eagerness to learn best practices in negotiating talent agreements and managing campaign budgets
  • Experience with social media measurement and reporting
  • Knowledge of all major social platforms and recent trends on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other developing platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • An attitude of positivity, adaptability, curiosity, and exploration
  • Experience in paid media a bonus, but not required
