Job Summary:

We are looking for a Whatsapp & Influencer Marketing Specialist, to support and execute iHerb's Whatsapp and influencer marketing strategy for the Hong Kong market. This role will be based in Tokyo or in Seoul with a hybrid work model, and will focus on Whatsapp channel management, influencer partnerships, customer engagement, and localized campaign execution. This role is hybrid, may be based in Tokyo, Japan or Seoul, South Korea

This position is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and community growth through WhatsApp marketing and influencer activations tailored toHong Kong audience. We are looking for a hands-on marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the Hong Kong digital landscape, and can translate local market insights into impactful campaigns.

In this role, you will lead cross-functional alignment by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and creators to deliver measurable business results while maintaining alignment with global brand standards.

Job Expectations:

  • Manage and grow iHerb's WhatsApp channel presence in Hong Kong, including content planning, community management, and audience engagement
  • Develop and maintain WhatsApp broadcast lists, group strategies, and messaging cadences to drive customer retention and conversion
  • Identify, vet, onboard, and manage local influencers across relevant tiers (macro, mid-tier, micro, and affiliate) aligned with business objectives
  • Coordinate end-to-end influencer campaign execution, including outreach, briefing, content review, posting schedules, and performance tracking
  • Support the development of localized content that resonates with Hong Kong audiences while maintaining global brand consistency
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular reporting on key metrics including reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI
  • Translate campaign analytics and performance data into actionable insights and optimization recommendations
  • Partner with internal teams including Performance Marketing, E-commerce,Creative, and Brand Marketing to support integrated campaign execution
  • Stay current on Hong Kong social media trends, platform updates, creator ecosystems, and messaging channel opportunities
  • Collaborate with external agency and partners to ensure campaign alignment with business goals and brand standards identify growth opportunities and provide market-level insights to support broader APAC marketing initiatives

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:

  • Hands-on experience executing Whatsapp and influencer marketing campaigns, ideally with a Hong Kong market focus
  • Working knowledge of WhatsApp Business and messaging channel best practices for brand marketing
  • Strong understanding of the Hong Kong social media ecosystem, including relevant platforms, creators, and content trends
  • Experience coordinating influencers and creator partnerships, including outreach, briefing, and performance tracking
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and identify optimization opportunites
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to measure campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborative effectively with cross-functionally teams across multiple time zones
  • Passion for social media, influencer marketing, digital engagement, , and the health and wellness industry
  • This role is hybrid, may be based in Tokyo, Japan or Seoul, South Korea
  • Fluent in English; Cantonese fluency is strongly , preferred. Mandarin proficiency is a plus

Experience Requirements:

Generally requires 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in social media, influencer marketing, digital marketing, or related fields, preferable with experience in the Hong Kong or broader APAC market.


Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
