Construction Shop & Delivery Driver



Job Summary


Infinity Contracting Services, Corp. is actively seeking a highly motivated Driver to perform local deliveries in the five boroughs of New York City.

The Driver position at Infinity Contracting Services, Corp. is responsible for the safe and timely local deliveries of equipment, construction materials and other articles of trade. In addition, the role involves loading and unloading the truck and maintaining the vehicle to provide reliable service.


Responsibilities and Duties


-Organize inventory, track tools checking in/out, clean the shop, and prep materials for upcoming jobs.


· Notify the office manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered


· Safely and efficiently handle and unload goods from the truck at selected destinations


· Load and unload the truck


· Ensure that items are correctly stacked and secured


· Transport materials from the place of origin to assigned destination


· Maintain proper knowledge of loaded items


· Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries


· Ensure that the delivery schedule is followed


· Maintain detailed delivery logs


· Ensure that appropriate and complete documentation is available at the time of loading


· Handle paperwork between field employees and the main office


- Communicate with project managers and site foremen to ensure the right materials arrive at the right site on time.


Qualifications and Skills


· High School Diploma or GED


· 2 years of delivery driving experience


· CDL and clean driving record


· Excellent time management skills.


- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools (so you know the difference between a framing nailer and a finish nailer).
