Description

RCR Technology is seeking a DBA to m anage day-to-day database operations, maintain schema objects, database and security standards Maintenance and Monitoring of all Databases, supporting different application teams, releases and projects, identifying and tuning performance bottlenecks, user administration and maintenance, Schema refreshes, etc.

Requirements
  • 5-7 Years of experience as a DBA Proven track record of executing at least one complex database migration, preferably involving Exadata platforms or On-Premises-to-Cloud movements.
  • Experience in configuring advanced Data Guard. Configure and test automated database Switchovers and Failovers using Data Guard Broker to ensure minimal-downtime cutovers.
  • Experience in Golden gate installation, Configuring Exacts, Replicates etc. Design and maintain enterprise backup architectures utilizing RMAN, optimizing parameters like channel parallelism, SECTION SIZE, and Block Change Tracking (BCT).
  • Proven experience planning and executing quarterly full-stack Exadata patching, including the database layer, Grid Infrastructure (GI), storage cell software, InfiniBand/RoCE switches, and server firmware.
  • Experience in Oracle Database versions (11g,12c,19c) Strong skills in both logical and physical database design/modeling.
  • Strong skills in identifying and fixing database issues, related to deadlocks, application locks and waits, contentions, etc.
  • Strong skills in SQL
  • Performance tuning of inefficient queries.
  • Experience in Database Performance Tuning using AWR/ADDM reports.
  • Strong skills in maintaining multiple databases and support development, testing and performance teams.
  • Strong skills in writing Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Views, etc. PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience in writing shell/batch scripts for processes like backups, schema refreshes, Wait and lock alerts, Maintenance jobs, etc.
  • Experience with OEM monitoring and alerting Experience in Oracle Data-Pump utility Capacity planning, User management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills:
  • Oracle certifications are a plus Data Masking, Exadata, Golden Gate experience.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts is necessary.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
