Join a dynamic healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest as a Clinical Intern, working under the guidance of licensed nurses to provide compassionate patient care. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in various clinical duties, supporting patients through their daily activities and medical needs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily hygiene including bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, and grooming.
  • Provide skin care and take precautions to prevent skin breakdown.
  • Support physical activities such as repositioning, ambulation, range of motion exercises, and transfers.
  • Help meet nutritional needs by preparing patients for meals, assisting with feeding, and monitoring dietary restrictions.
  • Collect specimens, perform vital signs, and document intake and output accurately.
  • Perform technical nursing procedures under supervision, including oxygen therapy, catheter insertion/removal, intravenous therapy discontinuation, nasopharyngeal suctioning, dressing changes, wound care, and injections.
  • Conduct patient assessments and collaborate closely with primary nurses.
  • Educate patients and families in conjunction with nursing staff.
  • Maintain thorough and precise documentation of all patient care activities.

Education
Currently enrolled in a nursing program or completed nursing education but not yet licensed.
Experience
This is an entry-level position; no prior experience is required.
Requirements
