Job description

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in LE ROY, NY 14482. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. Employees can also complete double shifts.

FULL-TIME Openings: 7AM-3PM (Day) and 3PM-11PM (Eve)

If you are unable to commit and consistently work any of the open shifts including working every other Saturday & Sunday then this position is not the right fit for you.

The hourly rate is $23.50/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $35.25/hr.

Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Thursday via direct deposit)

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.

Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.

Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.

Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.

Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.

Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of an accredited CNA training program.
  • Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, yet new graduates with enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine, compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and focus.
