Essential Functions
Assists Operations Management in the daily coordination of plant activities and operations, making sound decisions.
Responsible for the safety of employees, visitors, and themselves.
Enforces all Company and regulatory policies, rules, and regulations.
May conduct site-specific training for employees, vendors, and others at the facility.
Assists in troubleshooting production issues.
Communicates with employees regarding work assignments and correcting problems.
Conduct site-specific training for employees, vendors, or other persons at the facility.
Communication with managers and supervisors regarding plant and employee needs.

A High School Diploma is preferred
Experience
Previous experience in the mining or construction industry.
Exhibit high levels of competency, skill and proficiency in daily mining operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and have excellent driving skills.
Communicate with employees regarding work assignments and correcting problems.
Assist in troubleshooting production issues.
Other Requirements
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
May work in a variety of assignments with experience and growth, such as assisting with financial reports, payroll, or procurement activities.
Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, pull, push, bend, and lift 50 pounds.
May be required to wear a respirator.
Must be able to work required overtime, which may include up to or more than 12 hours per day and up to 7 days per week.
Some level of environmental reporting responsibility.
Fill in for absent employees due to vacation, sickness, etc.
Positions may be reassigned to other duties in the plant as required.
