ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) is creating a talent pipeline of professional CDL-A transport drivers for future opportunities supporting our race operations. As a driver in our Team Transport Talent Pool, you’ll be considered for upcoming roles that aid in executing our IndyCar and IMSA racing programs across North America.

Although this is not an immediate opening, we review applicants from the talent pool as new positions become available and prioritize those who have already expressed interest.

Requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Our Transport Drivers keep the team moving by taking on key responsibilities such as:

  • Operate RLL transporters in accordance with DOT and RLL standards
  • Travel extensively to all races, tests, and events (approximately 25+ annually)
  • Safely load and unload race cars and related equipment
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of garage, tent, and pit areas
  • Maintain the cleanliness, readiness, and compliance of the transporter
  • Support pit operations, including tire logistics, fuel, and nitrogen
  • Collaborate with engineering, mechanics, and operations teams

IDEAL CANDIDATES

RLL drivers don’t just move equipment — they move performance with:

  • Valid CDL-A license (required)
  • 0–3 years of CDL-A driving experience
  • At least 21 years old
  • Clean driving record
  • Capable of passing a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
  • Motorsports or team transport experience is a plus
