ย Netchannels is looking to hire a full time Industry Analyst Relations Specialist for one of our clients. This is a long term engagement. Experience in the High Tech industry is required.
NOTE: this is NOT a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Financial Analyst role.
Description:
The analyst relations team is responsible for setting and executing strategy to ensure both large and boutique analyst firms understand the clientโ€™s capabilities and represent them accurately to the market and their end users. Tier 1 analyst firms are: Gartner, Forrester, IDC.
Job Overview
This person will be responsible for sharing information, fostering relationships, gathering market insights, and shaping perceptions among the community of the clientโ€™s key industry analysts. 80% of the job is to program manage evaluations and ensure all deadlines are met to respond to RFI. 20% of the job is to take initiative communicating with stakeholders, interfacing with analyst firms, and reporting on metrics. This is not a senior level position.
Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage the evaluations for MQ, Waves, and MarketScape and more RFIs.
  • Work with Product Marketing to deliver quality and compelling information to the industry analyst community through an ongoing cadence of analyst briefings, inquiries and other engagements
  • Respond to Requests for Information to complete research reports/whitepapers
  • Review, summarize and track relevant research for internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate analyst briefings, inquiries and engagements such as consulting days or analyst visits
  • Create and maintain a research and engagement calendar
  • Secure analyst quotes for press releases, blogs and other marketing materials
  • Assist in planning and delivery of Analyst Conference with all members of the AR team
  • Participate in and coordinate analyst interactions at conferences and other trade events
  • Prepare analyst briefing books to inform the clientโ€™s teams of recent analyst engagements and research prior to in person meetings

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Technology is a must
  • Experience managing evaluations is a must
  • 5+ years experience in Analyst Relations
  • Project management skills is a must
  • Solid industry analyst relationships and a few references from firms or past employers
  • Track record of executing on analyst relations programs in previous B2B companies
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional organizations (sales, PR, social media, product, business development, and vertical marketing organizations)
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Some travel required to analyst conferences and team meetings
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
