Job Summary
The Industrial Sewing Machine Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing industrial sewing, cutting, and finishing equipment used in a cut-and-sew manufacturing operation. This position ensures equipment operates efficiently, safely, and at optimal quality levels to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintain and repair industrial sewing machines including single needle, overlock, coverstitch, bartack, buttonhole, and specialty machines
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fabric cutting machines including automated cutters, straight knife, band knife, and die cutting equipment
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Maintain and service seam sealing and heat-sealing machines including hot air, hot wedge, ultrasonic, and tape-sealing equipment
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Adjust temperature, pressure, speed, and alignment settings on seam sealing machines to meet product specifications and material requirements
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Ensure cutting accuracy, blade condition, and sealing integrity to support quality and compliance requirements
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Assist with machine setup, attachments, and operation-specific tuning
