Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Sandblaster for a company based in Spartanburg, SC In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a growing team while preparing and finishing metal surfaces to meet quality and safety standards.  …

Pay Rate 
$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm

Sandblaster Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces 
  • Remove rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants. 
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. 
  • Maintain and clean equipment regularly. 
  • Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Sandblaster Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous sandblasting or industrial painting experience preferred 
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Physical strength and stamina lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
