PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Production Supervisor for a company based in Kennesaw, Georgia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a growing medical device manufacturing environment where your leadership, problem-solving skills, and production expertise will directly contribute to delivering high-quality products that make a difference in healthcare.

Pay Rate 
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule and Hours 
Full time schedule, hours to be discussed during the interview process.

Production Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate Production Associates and Leads engaged in packaging, inspection, and labeling of medical device products. 
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, cGMP requirements, QMS standards, FDA regulations, and ISO requirements.  
  • Assist with employee training, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations. 
  • Assign associates to workstations and communicate weekly production schedules.
  • Review daily work order priorities and serve as a liaison between management and production personnel. 
  • Verify work orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures. 
  • Monitor production areas, identify process issues, reduce waste, and communicate concerns to management. 
  • Update and maintain production job boards to ensure effective shift-to-shift communication. 
  • Set up, adjust, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.
Production Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred. 
  • Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. 
  • Understanding of manufacturing process flow and production operations. 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in machine setup, adjustment, and routine maintenance is a plus. 
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
