Job description

ELECTRO MECHANIC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This is a first shift position. Pay will be based upon skill level and experience.

Seeking an experienced maintenance employee who has a minimum of 8 years’ experience in trouble shooting and repairing plant equipment. Mechanical experience is a must and 480 electrical is required.

The standard shift will be Monday - Friday, working from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Overtime is available on an as needed basis.

Candidates must be self-starters, dependable and someone that can be trusted to work when no one is looking. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications: - MUST MEET ALL QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED

* Ability to perform essential duties

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Minimum of 8 years industrial maintenance mechanical/electrical experience

* Must have 480 electrical experiences

* Prior computer experience required

* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

In this role you will perform the following duties:

* Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives and forklifts, turrets, lasers, punch press, mills, lathes, paint line equipment, welders, press brakes.

* Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled preventative maintenance as directed.

* Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

* Must be able to perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry functions.

* Must be able to work beneath machines, in close quarters and at heights performing analysis and repair work.

* Must be able to order replacement parts and communicate effectively with outside service technicians.

* Keep Operations Manager advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.

* Maintains equipment maintenance records (manual files and computer records).

* Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with the Lockout requirements.

* Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.

* Trains operators in operation procedures for working safely with electrical/pneumatic tools and other equipment as directed.

* Work when scheduled and comply with the company attendance policy.

* Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

* The ability to stand, walk, drive, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.

* Lift up to 50 pounds and exert force
