  • Follow and enforce proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during all maintenance activities to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Carry out electrical troubleshooting and repairs on industrial equipment, including three-phase systems, motors, and control circuits.
  • Support mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems through inspection, adjustment, repair, and replacement of parts as needed.

  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and production departments to ensure equipment runs efficiently and meets operational targets.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, plant regulations, and industrial maintenance best practices during every task.
  • Perform physically demanding work, including accessing machines in tight spaces, climbing stairs, and handling tools and equipment.
  • Work safely and effectively in areas of the plant where temperatures can reach up to 125°F, while completing most tasks in cooler zones.
  • Support maintenance production activities by ensuring machines are properly maintained, adjusted, and ready for operation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and handle dirty equipment and components as part of routine maintenance work.
Essential Skills
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of industrial machinery and components.
  • Strong electrical skills, including experience with industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of motors, three-phase power, and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing issues and resolving them independently from start to finish, without requiring constant supervision.
  • Proficiency with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and commitment to following them consistently for all maintenance activities.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance or a manufacturing maintenance technician role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Ability to interpret and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Comfort working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems in an industrial environment.
  • Capability to perform PLC troubleshooting, including work with automation systems and Siemens PLCs.
  • Physical ability to work in tight spaces, climb stairs, lift equipment, and perform sustained physical labor.
  • Ability to work in hot environments with temperatures up to 125°F while maintaining safety and productivity.
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, rotating between days and nights every two weeks.
