Job description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer with strong experience in weld tooling design and validation. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations, improve process efficiency, and lead tooling development initiatives in a production environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement weld and assembly tooling
  • Perform tooling validation using FARO Arm (quality checks)
  • Develop manufacturing process flows and optimize cost
  • Handle weld tooling/templates and components
  • Create and update work instructions, SOPs, CN, and DOU
  • Support assembly process planning and production control
  • Design material handling equipment, racks, and carts
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, and layout planning
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives
  • Validate racks and carts based on load capacity
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Support continuous improvement projects

Required Skills (Must Have)
  • Experience in Weld Tooling Design & Validation
  • Hands-on experience with weld tooling/templates and components
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools: SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with FARO Arm for tooling validation
  • Background in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering support
  • Experience in time study, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions

Preferred Background
  • Experience in Truck, Construction, or Heavy Equipment (T&OH) industries
