Job Description:

Position Summary

The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and capacity through time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with production, manufacturing, and logistics teams to optimize labor, equipment, material flow, and facility utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct time studies and establish labor standards.
  • Perform line balancing to improve productivity and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain capacity plans for labor, equipment, and production lines.
  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize man and machine utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Analyze and improve material flow and line-side part presentation.
  • Develop and implement floor space and facility layout improvements.
  • Support manufacturing launches, process improvements, and productivity projects.
  • Identify waste and implement Lean Manufacturing principles to improve performance.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with:

    • Kaizen and Continuous Improvement
