Job description

Schutz Container System a Global Packaging Container Company located in Kenosha, Wisconsin looking for a Chemical Engineer -Waste Water Manager

Job Duties,

  1. Strong knowledge and understanding of SDS sheets to make risk assessments, chemical classifications and waste determinations
  2. Knowledge and understanding of RCRA and EPA regulations and rules
  3. Experience and strong knowledge in chemical neutralization and understanding the difference between an Acid and a base.
  4. Classify all incoming fill goods as needed.
  5. Neutralize corrosive residues in Elementary Neutralization Units
  6. Manage all waste streams produced at the facility for proper disposal
  7. Hands on environment with 50% of time split between office work and monitoring the reconditioning process and waste streams.
  1. 4 year Chemical Degree
  2. 3-5 year Manufacturing Experience
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Computer knowledge of MS Windows and SAP
