This role is based in our North Texas office and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.About the RoleThe Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Manager is responsible for the management, technical operations, and leadership of the employees in their assigned Business Unit. This includes oversight of day-to-day responsibilities, providing guidance for technical decisions and project deliverables, while supporting the company's strategic plan.Key ResponsibilitiesExperience in more than one of the following areas is preferred, but not required:Accountable for the overall development, productivity, and direction of all team members. This includes assignment of team members to projects along with direction of project workflow in concert with project managers. Assist with managing department utilization.Responsible for the technical content and quality of the work, adherence to budgets and schedules, scope and deliverables. Provide team guidance, regular feedback, coaching/mentoring and ongoing communication of any new company initiatives or policies and procedures.Leads or participates in regular department and/or project meetings.Support Business Development opportunities as required.Assist with cost estimates and proposal development.PLC, HMI, DCS and SCADA system programming and configuration.Design, configuration, integration, and implementation of automated equipment.Develop software and hardware design specifications.Design, write, test and document PLC and HMI software.Create Control Narratives, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams, and Network Diagrams.Develop and execute control system validation/testing protocols.Troubleshoot, test, and start-up control systems onsite.Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree from an accredited university, or commensurate experience.PE License preferred. Texas PE in Control Systems a plus.Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience designing and programming control systems individually and as part of a team, with emphasis on PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems is required. Technical leadership of teams in the execution of control systems project scopes is preferred.Experience managing projects with Ignition SCADA desiredExperience designing control panels.
