Job description

CoCreativ is a leading creative production company providing end-to-end solutions through Industrial Color, Smashbox Studios, and Globaledit. Together, our companies support brands and creative teams across photography, video, post-production, CGI, e-commerce content, studio services, and creative workflow technology.

We're looking for an Account Director to drive growth across CoCreativ's existing client base.

This is not a traditional day-to-day account management role. You'll work across Globaledit, Industrial Color, and Smashbox Studios to identify the relationships with the greatest potential, build strategic growth plans, and expand how clients work with CoCreativ.

You'll inherit an established client base and have significant autonomy to deepen relationships, uncover new opportunities, and bring more structure to how we grow key accounts.

This is a hybrid role based in New York, with in-office work in Tribeca Tuesday through Thursday.

What You'll Do

  • Identify priority, high-growth, and at-risk accounts across the CoCreativ portfolio.
  • Build and execute strategic growth plans for key clients.
  • Expand existing relationships through additional services, business units, and longer-term engagements.
  • Build relationships across multiple levels and functions within client organizations.
  • Partner with business unit leaders and account teams to uncover and advance opportunities.
  • Own senior relationships with selected accounts while supporting the teams managing day-to-day work.
  • Lead QBRs, planning sessions, client presentations, and other strategic touchpoints.
  • Stay ahead of client issues and coordinate internally to protect and strengthen relationships.
  • Track client activity, revenue trends, and opportunities using Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Represent CoCreativ at client meetings, dinners, events, and industry activations.
  • Help build a more consistent account-growth framework across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, client services, business development, sales, or a related client-facing role.
  • A demonstrated track record of growing existing client relationships and revenue.
  • Experience within a creative agency, production company, studio, creative technology business, or related creative-services environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills paired with a commercial, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to operate credibly with senior creative, production, marketing, procurement, and business leaders.
  • Strong understanding of creative production and curiosity about AI and emerging creative technology.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach and comfort operating without a fully built playbook.
  • Ability to influence and drive action across teams you do not directly manage.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and commercial skills.
  • Working proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel and attend occasional client dinners and evening events.

Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 annually. This position is also expected to participate in a variable incentive/commission plan, with the structure currently being finalized and details to be shared during the interview process.Ranges are based on various factors, including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.

Our benefits package is designed to support your health, well-being, and time outside of work. It includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, an FSA, paid time off, summer Fridays, and regular office events that bring our teams together. Employees also enjoy a beautiful, inspiring workspace with an open gallery and two outdoor patio decks for working, connecting, and recharging.
