Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Cleaner. The Industrial Cleaner performs cleaning related tasks as outlined in the contract between the company and the customer in an Industrial environment. The Industrial Cleaner reports any problems, or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or manager.

SCHDULE:

  • Full Time
  • Postions available on all shifts
  • Monday - Friday

PAY RATE: Starting from $11.50 - $14.00 per hour

Weekly Pay

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Empty trash and recycling
  • Clean entire restroom by utilizing disinfectants and bathroom cleaners, restock restroom supplies as needed, remove trash, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, sweep and/or wet mop floors.\
  • Clean the plant floor and machinery
  • Keep closets clean, neat, and orderly
  • Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
  • On the job training will be provided
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions effectively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
